Dariel Alvarez socked his 15th HR of the year, a 3-run shot, in the 1st, and Chris Jones proceeded to cruised through 7 innings of work. Jones allowed 2 ER via 8 hits, K'd 3 and walked none. Oliver Drake worked his ERA down to 0.75 with a scoreless 9th, earning his 19th Save. Every batter in the lineup had precisely 1 hit.
Richmond (Giants) 3, Bowie 11
The 1-4 hitters combined to go 10-for-15 with 3 doubles, 1 HR, 2 walks, 1 HBP, 1 SB, and 8 RBI. Glynn Davis was 3-5 with the SB. Trey Mancini went 2-4 with a HR and 4 of the RBI. Drew Dosch finally got his AVG over the .200 mark with a 2-4 effort. Ariel Miranda limited the Flying Squirrels to just 3 hits and 1 ER over 6 IP. He K'd 4 and walked 1.

No Jomar Reyes = no offense of note for the Shorebirds. Derek Peterson hit a 2 run dinger, but otherwise the lineup produced just 3 other base hits. John Means kept the game close with 3 ER allowed over 5 IP. He K'd 5 and walked 2. The 'pen then hacked up 8 runs (7 earned) over the final 3 frames.
Aberdeen 7, Hudson Valley (Rays) 0
The entire lineup got at least 1 hit, with D.J. Stewart going 2-5 and connecting for his 4th HR of the season. Steve Laurino had himself a 3-5 night and scored 2 runs. 20 y/o RHP Christian Alvarado pitched 6 scoreless, striking out 5 and walking none. Garrett Cleavinger added 2 more scoreless innings to his resume, bringing his '15 total up to 14 IP.
