New, comments

Terry Doyle continues to roll along. As do the usual suspects on offense in the O's organization.

Terry Doyle once pitched for the Twins. Now he's dominating for the O's in Bowie and Norfolk.

Columbus (Cleveland) 4 Norfolk 3

(RHP) Terry Doyle K'd 7 and limited the Crew to just 1 ER over 7 IP, but the offense couldn't muster much of a threat until a 2 run 8th tied the game. Doyle lowered his ERA to 2.96 on the season. Junior Lake doubled twice and K'd twice in 5 at bats. Christian Walker walked twice in 5 plate appearances. While Dariel Alvarez went 1 for 4 with a walk.

Trenton (Yankees) 6 Bowie 4

The Baysox tried to make a game of a blowout with a 2 run 8th and another run in the 9th, but fell ultimately fell short. Trey Mancini doubled in the 8th and scored on Mike Yastzemski's single. Mancini added an RBI Sac Fly in the 9th. Chance Sisco batted 2nd and went 1 for 4 with a walk.

Frederick 1 vs. Lynchburg (Cleveland) 0 (Suspended in the 3rd due to rain)

Josh Hart lead the game off with a triple and came in to score via a Wynston Sawyer Sac Fly.

Delmarva 1 Lakewood (Phillies) 6

Tanner Chleborad coughed up 4 runs in the 1st and that was pretty much it for the Shorebirds. Jomar Reyes did knock two doubles in 4 at bats and drove in the lone run of the game for Delmarva.

Staten Island (Mets) 1 Aberdeen 2 (7 innings)

SI scored 1 in the 4th, but the Ironbirds answered with a 2 run volley in the bottom half of the inning. That proved enough of a margin as the rains came and ended this one early. ( C ) Stuart Levy tripled and drove in both runs for the Ironbirds. D.J. Stewart knocked a single in his lone at bat. Garrett Cleavinger K'd 1 in his lone inning of work. He has 17 of those over 17 innings of total work this season. The '15 3rd rounder has allowed just 1 ER over those 17 innings of work.
