Norfolk 4, Lehigh Valley IronPigs 0
Henry Urrutia homered and Steve Johnson tossed three shutout innings to lift the Tides over the IronPigs. Richard Rodriguez, Dana Eveland, Pedro Beato and Oliver Drake all contributed to the shutout.
Bowie Baysox 6, Trenton Thunder 5
Mike Yastrzemski has had trouble adjusting to the Eastern League and has had some injury issues this year, but, hey: four walks is four walks. Here's hoping he can finish strong. For what it's worth, Corban Joseph hasn't been kept off the basepaths since July 19. He was 2-4 with a double. Joe Gunkel wasn't at his best today, but hung in for five innings. Although he allowed four runs to score, only one was earned.
Frederick Keys 2, Myrtle Beach Pelicans 0
Davis Hess continued his fine season with seven shutout innings. Hess had the curious looking line of one grounder to twelve flyouts...he struck out five Pelicans, as well. Josh Hart, Chance Sisco and new guy Yaisel Mederos each had two hits. Hart stole a pair of bases, too. Austin Wynns homered in his second straight games and is slashing .325/.391/.481 since the All Star Break.

Delmarva Shorebirds 3, Charleston RiverDogs 1
Not a whole lot going offensively in this one, but Josh Walker was solid again. Garrett Cortright picked up his twelfth save.
Aberdeen Shorebirds 5, Staten Island Yankees 8
There are bad innings and then there's the travesty of a sham of a mockery of an fifty inning that befell the Ironbirds. Zach Albin was dinked and dunked nearly to death until Drew Bridges issued the coup de grace in the form of a base clearing double. Ricardo Andujar homered for the Ironbirds.
