Anyone who goes to Camden Yards today will get two games for the price of one, which is a good deal just about any way you slice it. Even if the Orioles lose them both, which seems likely when you consider how they have played lately and who is in the lineup, those in attendance today will still have the good fortune to view one third of all remaining 2015 Orioles games. It's a fun atmosphere.
Another day on and there's still no Adam Jones in the O's lineup - or at least not for the first game. Maybe not for the second game either. David Lough finally gets to play in his return to the O's. Maybe he will do something good. At least he is a real outfielder by trade, which is better than can be said of some of the people who have played out there, and bumbled out there, of late.
There has been so much dang bumbling. Good grief.
Thinking about this Orioles season makes me sad. Thinking about it being over and all of the people who've been Orioles for several years who will soon not be Orioles any more also makes me sad. Six months of no real Orioles games makes me sad as well. Maybe the Orioles won't make me sad today with how they play... but probably they will.
