It'll be hard for the Orioles to play much worse than they did in the first game of their doubleheader against the Blue Jays today. It'll be even harder considering that Jays manager John Gibbons already telegraphed that if the Jays clinched in the afternoon game - as they did - he would be playing "a skeleton crew" in the evening game.
Maybe against this skeleton crew, Kevin Gausman can actually enjoy some success. That would be helpful since a lot of the bullpen was used in the first game. Nobody who matters, sure, but if Gausman also is bounced early, that would be very bad for him and us.
The Orioles, by the way, still have a slight chance to finish with a .500 record, if they manage to win every remaining gahahahahaha sorry I can't finish that sentence.
