Norfolk Tides 2, Gwinnett Braves 6
Christian Walker hit two solo homers and Junior Lake singled twice. One of these men is likely on the way to Toronto to replace Dariel Alvarez.

Despite Walker's slow start this season, he leads the team in homers. Mike Belfiore made the start, but left with an injury after the first. None of the relievers particularly merits mention.
Bowie Baysox 6, Altoona Curve 3
The Baysox only got six men on base so were very efficient offensively tonight. As has often been the case, Trey Mancini and Quincy Latimore delivered. Mancini hit his 27th double and drove in a run while Latimore swatted an Earl Weaver Special for his 18th homer of the year. Nick Additon was solid in six innings while Andrew Triggs was perfect over 1.2 innings for his 17th save.

Frederick Keys 4, Carolina Mudcats 7
After a nice debut last week, John Means found out that life in the Carolina League might not be all smiles and sunshine. Means was hung with a "Super Tommy" (seven runs, all earned) over five innings. Luckily, large mammal Dylan Rheault was able to stop the bleeding with three shutout innings. Garrett Cortright was perfect in an inning of relief. Adirian Marin singled, doubled, stole a base and was caught stealing.
Delmarva Shorebirds 5, Lakewood BlueClaws 7
Lucas Long allowed two homers (including one to a guy named Jiandido Tromp) and his followers on the hill didn't do much better. T.J. Oleszcuk doubled twice and Cam Kneeland homered. Both Ademar Rifaela and Yermin Mercedes were quiet.
Aberdeen Ironbirds 2, Lowell Spinners 1
Jake Bray was perfect over two innings and struck out three, Kory Groves struck out four in two shutout innings and Patrick Baker allowed an earned in four innings. Bray has not been scored upon in four games since moving up to Aberdeen. Alejandro Juvier singled twice and stole two bases. The 19 year old third baseman has a .340 OBP at Aberdeen this season. D.J. Stewart struck out three times.
