This is it. The Orioles could clinch a postseason spot today. They will have to win today's game in order to accomplish that, as well as get some help from other teams later on in the day. But the magic number is two. That's where it's at.

So they sure better beat a Yankees squad that has nothing to play for. Easier said than done. The Yankees are going to compete to the end. The Orioles can't just go out there and stink and expect to win. They need to see the Wade Miley who almost pitched a complete game against the Diamondbacks, not the Wade Miley who got completely blasted by the Red Sox and other teams.

And then they, in turn, need to go ahead and not stink against Luis Severino, who has an ERA near 6. So, you know, hit a bunch of homers and win. That's pretty much it. And then the magic number would be one and they might clinch later. But only if they win!
