Wednesday Bird Droppings: Winter meetings chaos

New, 700 comments

The Winter Meetings are still going on, but will the Orioles do anything? Probably not.

Winslow Townson-USA TODAY Sports

Hello Camden Chatters! The Winter Meetings continue on and the rumors are flying fast and furious out of National Harbor. The Orioles haven't actually done anything, not like the rival Red Sox who yesterday traded for Chris Sale. No!

The Orioles seem to be wasting their time on Mark Trumbo, but they've also started talking to Chris Tillman about an extension, and Dan Duquette took some time of out of his day to tell Jose Bautista that nobody likes him.

What news will come out of the meetings today? Nobody can say, but be sure it keep checking back here as we'll be keeping you abreast of all important goings on. Not that the Orioles will actually do anything, because you know.

Is today your birthday? Happy birthday! Your Orioles birthday buddies are Rich Coggins, an outfielder for the 1972-74 Orioles; and Hal Smith, who played for the 1955-56 Birds. It's also Yasiel Puig's birthday. Puig Your Friend turns 26 today.
