Who will be a bust? Who is the team's most interesting player? Should we expect big things from Schoop in 2016? All that and more in today's links.

Happy Wednesday, Camden Chatters! I have got a ton of links for you today, so get ready to dig in. We are now just 19 days from Opening Day. That is so close, y'all. Then number 19 is currently being worn by very rich slugger Chris Davis. It was worn before him by Koji Uehara and Ben McDonald, among others.

Who are American League's biggest bust candidates for 2016? | SI.com
Jay Jaffe makes a list of five players likely to have bad years, and our own Yovani Gallardo makes the list. His reasoning is sound, but hopefully he's wrong.

Kline's long road back to baseball | fredericknewspost.com
Branden Kliine is doing his best to come back from Tommy John surgery, he'll miss the entire 2016 season. In the meantime, he's working on his degree.

Jonathan Schoop Hinting at Plate Maturation | Baseball Essential
With the usual caveat that spring stats don't matter, Jonathan Schoop is having a very good time down in Sarasota. I'm expecting big things out of him this year.

The 5 most interesting players of the AL East | SBNation.com
Grant Brisbee is writing a series about the most interesting player on each team. This article focuses on the A.L. East and for the Orioles, Kevin Gausman. If the Orioles are to be good, Gausman pretty much has to be good too.

Chris Tillman and Yovani Gallardo are really bad in the first two innings. We knew that about Tillman, but good to know I'll be tearing my hair out over Gallardo as well.

Another Look At The O's Bullpen | Baltimore Sports and Life
The Orioles will have less bullpen flexibility this year due to so many players without options, but will still probably be very good. Especially Zach Britton, swoon.

Why The Orioles Needed Ian Desmond And David Freese | Camden Depot
The Orioles lineup still has some question marks, for sure. But would Desmond and Freese have answered them?

Chance Sisco Confident He Can Stick at Catcher | Press Box Online
Sisco had a good 2015 at the plate, but there is still quesiton if he can stick behind it for the long term.

Is today your birthday? Happy birthday! You have two old timey Orioles as birthday buddies. Clint Courtney (1927-75) was a catcher for the Orioles in 1954, a holdover from the St. Louis Browns. He had a second stint with the O's from 1960-61. Hobie Landrith, who turns 86 today, was also a catcher. He played in 62 games for the Orioles over two seasons in the sixties.
