Did your bracket survive to the second day of the second round without looking like a huge mess? If so, congratulations, and may you be as successful in this, the fourth day of the tournament. It rolls on today, perhaps not as glorious of a confluence as the first round with 16 games per day, but still pretty good.
There is an Orioles game that will actually be on both local television and local radio this afternoon. What a concept! You can tune to MASN or 105.7 FM in Baltimore to listen to today's collection of characters trying to win a game that doesn't count for anything. The game is scheduled for a 1:05 start time, and hopefully they actually get to play after having a game be washed out yesterday.
Today's full schedule for the tournament is here. Terps fans, we'll be waiting until 7:10 for the scheduled tip-off as they take on Hawaii.
And the Orioles lineup for today, which looks very different from the road lineup that got rained out yesterday:
1. Manny Machado 3B
2. Pedro Alvarez DH
3. Adam Jones CF
4. Chris Davis 1B
5. Mark Trumbo RF
6. Hyun Soo Kim LF
7. J.J. Hardy SS
8. Jonathan Schoop 2B
9. Caleb Joseph C
SP - Chris Tillman RHP
Unlike many spring lineups, this is one where you can feel like it's pretty regular season-y and thus it would be nice, even though it doesn't count, to see the regulars put in a good game and power the team towards a meaningless victory. If Tillman can also have a good game, even better. But we're still more than two weeks away from when it matters, so there's still time for things to get better if they aren't. Not a ton of time, but some.
