The man is back! Adam Jones saw that loss last night and he knew that the Orioles needed some help. What a guy. He didn't want to interfere with winning ways, but once he saw we had some issues he stepped right in. You gotta respect that in a guy. That's why he is the clubhouse leader, right?
Or maybe it's because it's supposed to be like 70° at first pitch in Arlington tonight and that is way easier to deal with than that 40° slop the O's and Red Sox were playing in earlier in the week. The oblique...erm, I mean "rib area"...is a delicate flower. You don't want to smash it.
Whatever the case is, the O's look so much more dangerous and deep with Jones in the lineup than they do without him. And they are gonna need it, because this team tends to be pretty bad against left-handed pitchers and the Rangers happen to have one of the best in the business on the hill tonight.
Tonight starts another seven-game winning streak!!!...I hope.
