Orioles Game 33 Game Thread: vs Tigers, 7:05 p.m.

The Birds return home to keep the good times rolling...we hope!

A lot of things bode well for the Orioles tonight. They are on a hot streak, having won five out of their last six. The Tigers struck out 20 times last night and have dropped eight of their last ten games. And the Birds are 13-5 at Camden Yards.

On the other hand, Detroit does well on the road (10-9) and, of course, Ubaldo is pitching tonight. But even he was good his last time out, throwing eight innings (!!!) and only allowing two runs. That's huge. It's looking like Kevin Gausman is for real and it feels as though it will be a pleasant summer from Chris Tillman. If Jimenez is on, the O's may, in fact, have that three-headed monster everyone wants in October.

But this is a big test. Yeah, the Tigers stunk last night, but look at these names. They still carry with them some serious pop. Castellanos has been a one-man wrecking crew, but after him, the star power drops off a cliff. Just gotta get through those first five guys. You can do this! I believe!

BASEBALL!
