Detroit Tigers at Baltimore Orioles, May 14, 2016 7:05 PM EDT

The Orioles are going for their seventh win in a row and looking to maintain sole possession of first place in the division. Can Mike Wright get the job done?

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

The Orioles are going for their seventh straight win tonight, which would match their season-long winning streak. That, of course, came at the very beginning of the season and was very exciting. This one is exciting too, as the Orioles look to be finding all kinds of ways to win. They can win 1-0 behind strong pitching, they can come back from a five-run deficit, what else can they do?

Pedro Alvarez is starting at third base tonight, so say your prayers that the ball isn't hit to him at all. When has a team gone from a player the defensive caliber of Manny Machado at a position to one the defensive caliber of Alvarez? I'm guessing never.

The game tonight can be seen on MASN as usual, but for your out of towners it'll also be shown on MLB Network.

Go O's!
