Ah, getaway day. The day game before a west coast road trip. Are you ready for Ryan Flaherty to play right field, with Pedro Alvarez playing third base? I am not ready. No one can ever be ready. But that's what's going to be happening all the same.
The Mariners, we have seen, have a lefty-loaded lineup with which you can't do too much screwing around. It'll be a tough test for Tyler Wilson today. When isn't it a tough test? It's hard to be a big leaguer. Still, it'd be nice for us if Wilson can pitch well - and for the Orioles, too, because those pesky Red Sox just keep on winning. Every game of possible separation could be huge later.
