Thank god it is Friday and that this awful week of Orioles baseball is nearly over. Yesterday, they finished up getting swept by the last-place Houston Astros in historic fashion, striking out 52 times in a three-game set. Ick! That was after that display on Sunday where soft-tossing Jered Weaver made the whole lineup look foolish. So, it's onto Cleveland, which I hope rocks for the Birds this weekend.
The Indians are a WAY better team than the Astros so far this year. CC's Chris Booze broke down the series for you earlier, but it won't matter who the O's face if their offense continues to flounder. Maybe the secret is to let Hyun-soo Kim play more, hmm?
He is the only guy hitting right now and he is back in the lineup tonight. That is THREE straight games of Kim goodness. Perhaps this is the start of a trend.
But Jones is leading off. What in the? I can't even begin to understand that decision. I guess anything to get Manny into more of a run-producing role but man, that is weird to look at. Enjoy!
BASEBALL!
