Norfolk 1, Durham 2
"Dayron Varona hit a walk-off double to score Jaff Decker and give the Bulls a 2-1 win over the Norfolk Tides in 11 innings in front of a sell-out crowd of 10,592 fans on Saturday, May 7, at the DBAP." While the Tides collected eight hits, not a single batter had more than one. They took no walks. That usually isn't going to lead to many runs, and it didn't last night. Joe Gunkel did pitch 7.0 with just 1 ER and 3 Ks with no walks and 6 hits allowed. Corban Joseph went deep for teh Tides' lone run.

Bowie 2, Erie 1 (Game 1)

Bowie 5, Erie 1 (Game 2)
"After last night's rain out, the Baysox were able to sweep the Saturday night doubleheader against the SeaWolves to open their three-game series. The Baysox took the first game 2-1 and came out ahead in game two with a 5-1 win to get back to .500 (14-14) on the season."

Frederick 2, Potomac 3
"The Potomac Nationals scored the final three runs, while the Frederick Keys bats never got going in a 3-2 P-Nats win on Saturday night at Pfitzner Stadium. With the loss, the Keys see their five-game winning streak come to a close."

Delmarva 7, Asheville 16
"Delmarva came to Asheville off a series victory in Lexington, but couldn't keep up with the offensively surging Tourists in a 16-7 loss on Saturday night at McCormick Field. The Tourists belted seven doubles and two home runs on the evening."
