Are you ready to see Ubaldo Jimenez swing a bat, or at least stand in a batter's box with a bat in his hands? That's what you will get to see tonight... assuming that Jimenez is in the game long enough for his turn to come up in the batting order, anyway. That's never a sure thing where he is concerned.
Other than the pitcher's spot, though, this is an interesting batting order. Jonathan Schoop is staying high up there even with Hyun Soo Kim in the lineup against the right-handed Erik Johnson. In his most recent start, Johnson gave up six runs in four innings to these Orioles, though of course that was in Baltimore and not San Diego. Whether it will go any better for him in his home stadium is another story.
