So, here we are: after a hard earned series split with the Red Sox in which the Orioles hit seven (SEVEN!) home runs in the finale, there's going to be talk about the inadequacy of the rotation. I suppose we all saw it coming and joked in the preseason about the type of games that actually came to pass last night and the night before, but let's quickly assess: after five solid innings last night, Ubaldo Jimenez fell apart in the sixth like it was going out of style and I'd love to say that it was out of character for him; Mike Wright's been packed off to Norfolk and Yovani Gallardo allowed seven (SEVEN!) hits in a rehab start at Frederick (that's high A ball, folks). Could we soon be looking at a rotation of Tillman, Gausman, Wilson, Worley and McFarland? It's not a perfect plan.
