Orioles Game 54 Game Thread: vs. Yankees, 7:15

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

A national TV audience awaits the Orioles and the Yankees tonight, or at least a lot of a national TV audience. For the most part, if you live in a state that borders either the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico, you will be getting this game through your Fox affiliate tonight.

Elsewhere, you're out of luck for watching on TV, which may not be a bad thing for you if you are not enthused about the Orioles starting pitching recently. Oh, sure, they have won the last three games and they're back into a tie for first place in the AL East, but that won't last for long if they don't start pitching better. Maybe tonight will be the night? Save us, Tyler Wilson.

Earlier today on Camden Chat, one of our community members, tflach2, shared this stat: Teams that have given up five or more runs have gone 5-30 since Wednesday. The Orioles have recorded three of the five wins. Wins are great, but really, even greater would be to stop giving up 5+ runs every game.
