Norfolk Tides 0, Durham Bulls 6

The Tides were one hit by a pair of Bulls pitchers including former teammate Eddie Gamboa. Mike Yastrzemski and Michael Almanzar were the sole baserunners for the Tides. Lile Yaz is slashing .286/.364/.519 at Norfolk. That's good!

Frederick Keys 3, Carolina Mudcats 11

New Baby Bird Trevor Belicek was rocked for six runs in 3.2 inning, including two homers. Not content with just one Carolina League Player of the Week award, Wynston Sawyer got the week started off right with two homers of his own. The 24 year old catcher has spent his last three season in lovely Frederick Jomar Reyes was 0-3 and his BA dropped to .222 for the season.

Delmarva Shorebirds 9, West Virginia Power 5 (13)

Starter Reid Love was pulled with two outs in the first and things got weirder from there. The Shorebirds committed four errors, including one from usually clutch catcher Yermin Mercedes (0-6 with a passed ball), but the bullpen held the Power to 1 earned run in 12.1 innings. Ryan Mountcastle continued his progression from lost pup to certifiable Sally League threat as he fell a triple short of the cycle while D.J. Stewart homered, doubled and stole three bases (13 on the year).
