Wednesday Bird Droppings: Late-night losses stink

The Orioles played another game on the west coast last night that most of us were too tired to stay up for. Who even thought of the west coast anyway? Dumb.

Is today your birthday? Happy birthday! You have three Orioles birthday buddies. Dan Johnson had five plate appearances for the 2013 Orioles, but is better known for his late inning heroics for the Tampa Bay Rays in game 162 in 2011. Sal Fasano only spent part of 2005 with the Orioles but his mustache will never be forgotten. And Bob Chakales pitched out of the bullpen for the inaugural O’s team in 1954.
