Wednesday Bird Droppings: Late-night losses stink

New, 677 comments

The Orioles played another game on the west coast last night that most of us were too tired to stay up for. Who even thought of the west coast anyway? Dumb.

Hello again Camden Chatters? How many of you stayed up late last night to watch last night’s loss? If you did, you’re a better fan than I am. I made it to about the fourth inning. The good news is that Ryan stayed up so that you didn't have to! You can read his recap here.

Is today your birthday? Happy birthday! You have three Orioles birthday buddies. Dan Johnson had five plate appearances for the 2013 Orioles, but is better known for his late inning heroics for the Tampa Bay Rays in game 162 in 2011. Sal Fasano only spent part of 2005 with the Orioles but his mustache will never be forgotten. And Bob Chakales pitched out of the bullpen for the inaugural O’s team in 1954.
