Norfolk Tides 6, Durham Bulls 10

The Tides can take cold comfort in having battered around a rehabbing Alex Cobb. While Cobb was up to his worm killing ways, the Tides weren't scared. They tagged him for five runs in four innings and probably could have gotten him worse as they put eleven men on in that time span. Dariel Alvarez had three hits in his third straight multihit game. Audry Perez drove in a run on a single and walked a run in. Christian Walker also extended his hit streak to eight games with another double, his fifth in that span. David Hale took the loss.

Bowie Baysox 2, Trenton Thunder 5

Aside from an appearance in the Gulf Coast League, T.J. McFarland has had a rough go of things since coming off the DL. he's now allowed eight earned runs in his last three outings, including three tonight. David Hess went six solid innings striking out five and allowing two earned runs. Not a whole lot happening offensively for the Baysox these days. New signing Chris Dickerson was 0-4.

Delmarva Shorebirds 6, Lakewood BlueClaws 9

The Shorebirds fell to the BlueClaws in the conclusion of their suspended game. Jake Bray had another solid outing in relief. Bray struck out three and allowed to two baserunners in two innings. The top of the order did some damage for the Shorebirds tonight. Cedric Mullins singled twice, walked and stole his 26th base; Ryan Mountcastle singled, doubled and stole a base; Randolph Gassaway doubled and walked twice and Natanael Delgado singled twice and had two outfield assists.

Delmarva Shorebirds 1, Lakewood BlueClaws 3 (7)

Reid Love and Christian Turnipseed were solid for the Shorebirds, but the bats went cold. The Shorebirds were held to four hits and k'd nine times. The BlueClaws plated a pair of runs in the fifth owing in part to errors by Reid Love and Ronarsy Ledesma, but Ledesma had homered earlier, so that's cool, right?

Aberdeen Ironbirds 2, Vermont Lake Monsters 1

Alex Wells pitched another gem and the Ironbirds walked it off on a Kirvin Moesquit single. Wells struck out seven and walked none in six innings and Yi-Hsiang LIn vultured a win with three scoreless innings in relief.
