Can Ubaldo Jimenez have another good start? We can dare to dream!

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

The Orioles got a big series win over the weekend but still find themselves in a tie with Detroit for the second wild card. It just feels like the Orioles need to win every single game to get anywhere, and that's frustrating and impossible.

The Rays are in last place in the division but they've done their best to play spoiler so far. They just took two out of three from the Blue Jays over the weekend, and I don't think they're to be taken lightly.

The bad news is that the teams the Orioles need to lose most are playing bad teams. The Red Sox are playing the Padres, the Tigers are playing the White Sox, and the Royals are playing the Twins. At least we have the Astros playing the first place Indians while the Yankees and Blue Jays play each other. That's a lot of crappy teams we have to root for. That's too many teams!
