Hello there, Camden Chatters. Have you heard the news? The Houston Astros are going to the World Series! First they knocked off the Red Sox. Then they defeated the Yankees. If that doesn’t make them the heroes of Orioles fans everywhere, I don’t know what would. Best of luck to them against the Dodgers.

Here is Birdland, we’re left without a natural rival to root against. So, then, who ya got in the World Series?

Some Sunday links:

Or just better batters in general

So this doesn't actually have to do with the Orioles, but it does mention them as part of the pair of 100-game winners to meet in the World Series. And there is very little Orioles news on the Sunday morning before the World Series.

Is today your birthday? Happy birthday! Your current Orioles birthday buddy is Darren O’Day! Darren celebrates his 35th birthday today, and with J.J. Hardy and Seth Smith presumably gone, is now the oldest member of the team.

Also born on this date are former Orioles Eli Whiteside, Hector Carrasco, Keith Osik, and Jamie Quirk.
