Hello, Camden Chatters. Happy Sunday! Did you, like me, spend much of yesterday mourning the trade of Giancarlo Stanton to the Yankees? In addition to the hated Yankees getting one of the best players in baseball and further boosting their already dong-heavy lineup, we’re now faced with the choice of having to stop liking Stanton or or keep liking him as a Yankee. Nothing good has come from this.
We are now 107 days from Opening Day and one day away from the start of the winter meetings. That last part doesn’t mean much to Orioles fans as their team is almost guaranteed not to do much.

Is today your birthday? Happy birthday! You have two not very exciting Orioles birthday buddies. Pedro Florimon appeared in four games for the 2011 Orioles and was claimed off of waivers by the Twins that winter. Luis Polonia had a 12-year major league career, 58 games of which were spent with the Orioles in 1996.
