In case you missed it this weekend, the Orioles re-signed Pedro Alvarez to a minor league deal and Chris Tillman's much anticipated bullpen session was shut down before it really got started. Panic ensued. So what's the backup plan?

Trappe, MD native Frank "Home Run" Baker was born on this day in 1886. The Hall of Fame third baseman hit 96 long balls over the course of his Dead Ball Era career, though finished out his days in a lineup with Babe Ruth. Will Clark was born on this day in 1964. He was a great hitter when healthy, but only played 162 once in his career. He was meant to replace Rafael Palmeiro, but only played 77 games in his first season with the O's He was traded away in the great 2000 fire sale.
