Every time Kevin Gausman takes the ball I hope that today is the day he will look like the Goose of 2016 (second half, especially). With each passing disaster I lose a little bit of optimism, but it's not completely gone yet. Maybe tonight will be the night!
There will probably not be any shenanigans between these two teams tonight as Rob Manfred and Joe Torre got both team's managers and general managers on the line today to tell them that enough is enough. Is this the first good thing Manfred has done since becoming commissioner? It's possible.
