Home sweet home. After a week of playing games in the hellish landscapes that are Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park (the places are fine, but the baseball was bad), the O's return to the friendly confines of Camden Yards. Ah! Food tastes better. Music sounds sweeter. Colors are more vibrant. Everything improves when the Orioles are in Baltimore.
The White Sox, however, will be hoping to put to an end to that joyful glee. The south-siders enter the day, surprisingly, tied for first in the AL Central with a 15-12 record. Miguel Gonzalez, of all people, is leading the charge with some impressive numbers on the mound while their offense does just enough to get by. For a more in-depth look at the series, I highly recommend Joe Wedra's preview from earlier today.
As far as the lineup goes, it's lather, rinse, repeat for Buck Showalter. The same nine guys that scored eight runs on Thursday get another crack at it on Friday. Don't mess with success, and also always put Hyun Soo Kim in the lineup.
