There are a lot of question marks about the starting rotation these days, but Dylan Bundy has generally not been a part of all that. His ERA is a beautiful 1.82 and his starts are becoming appointment television. Tonight he will be opposed by another Dylan, Dylan Covey. Covey's ERA of 7.29 is not quite a shiny as Bundy's, which probably means he'll pitch a complete game shutout.
Hyun Soo Kim is missing from tonight's lineup despite Covey being a righty as Trey Mancini has been given the start in left field instead. I don't like that. Jonathan Schoop is also on the bench as his hand has some swelling after being hit by a pitch yesterday. The x-ray was ok, per Buck Showalter, so hopefully this is a short term thing. I don't like this either.
And if you missed the bad news, Zach Britton has been put on the DL with Alec Asher taking his place. Boo!
