If the Orioles were going to start winning again after the front office decided that the team would be sellers, maybe they should have proclaimed themselves to be sooner.
The three-game winning streak has been nice and all, but their newfound good fortune will be put to the test by Wade Miley's pitching tonight. It is likely not a coincidence that three consecutive wins lined up to the games where Miley and Ubaldo Jimenez were not pitching.
A sweep would be rather nice, just because it's always more fun when the Orioles win. They would have to go on to close out this homestand by also sweeping the Astros this weekend just to get back to .500. It's not very likely, is it? Eventually, the reality of the Orioles rotation will reassert itself and then things will go back to not being very fun. Probably. So just enjoy things going well until then.
