...and just as the sell off talk heated up, the Orioles swept four games from the Rangers. What madness is this? Don't get too used to it, folks. The Astros are coming to town and they're no joke. I mean, maybe the O's can knick a game with Dallas Keuchel and Carlos Correa on the DL, but they're so deep and their bullpen is filthy. UBaldo Jimenez takes the bump in the opener. Feelin lucky, punk?

John Hart celebrates a birthday today. He managed in the Orioles organization for several years before taking a job with Indians and building their 90s juggernaut. He's also held roles in the Braves and Rangers organizations. Moe Drabowsky would have turned 82 today. The Ozanna, Poland native was a mainstay of the late 60s Orioles bullpen. Mark Williamson, Willie Eyre,, Wei-Yin Chen and Orioles Hall of Famer Mike Bordick also celebrate birthdays today.
