After close losses to the Tigers Thursday and Friday, the Orioles won the last two games of the series in very Orioles fashion on Saturday and Sunday. Winning on aggregate score isn't really a thing in baseball, but momentum in the series seemed to swing towards the O's. If they are truly angling towards a playoff berth, it would behoove them to take care of business on this upcoming road trip west as they need to pass both the Angels and the Mariners in the wild card standings. The O's will get another crack at each at home at the end of the month, but a good trip here would help out a bit.
