Happy Super Bowl Sunday, Camden Chatters! Who are you rooting for? Eagles? Patriots? Justin Timberlake?
It’s now 53 days until Opening Day. That is, of course, the jersey number that has been worn by closer Zach Britton since he joined the team in 2011. Sadly we won’t be able to see that number for quite some time in the 2018 season. Get well soon, Zach
Jersey number 53 was also famously worn by longtime 90s Oriole Arthur Rhodes and Todd “The Todd” Williams.
In perhaps even bigger news (we have lost sight of what is actually news here at Camden Chat since the Orioles haven’t had any the entire offseason) is that we are now in single digits until pitchers and catchers report! That’s right, just nine days until Dylan Bundy, Kevin Gausman, and...other people kick off spring training for the Orioles.

Either I have really fallen down on the job in knowing my prospects, or two of these three guys are made up.

Good news, guys. Trey Mancini is working hard.
Is today your birthday? Happy birthday! I am sorry to tell you that you have zero Orioles birthday buddies. If the Orioles had ever signed Doug Fister, I would tell you that he is your Orioles birthday buddy. But they did not.
As mentioned above, it was on this day in 2011 that the Orioles signed Vladimir Guerrero.
