Good morning Camden Chatters! Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! Another weekend is upon us as we inch closer and closer to Opening Day. If you’re spending the day participating in drunken shenanigans, have a good time and please be safe. Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!

We’re just 12 days from seeing that first pitch of the season! Who is the first Oriole you think of when you think of jersey number 12? I think the answer should be Roberto Alomar or maybe Mike Devereaux, but for me it’s actually Mark Reynolds.

If you’re in the mood for baseball today, the Orioles play the Blue Jays at 1:05. There is no TV, but it will be on 105.7 The Fan if you have a radio handy. I don’t think anyone will blame you if you watch basketball or knit a sweater instead.

This is what Chris Davis said yesterday about wanting to play today: “Tomorrow is my birthday. My wife and one of daughters is here. I’d like to hit a home run on my birthday and dance around the bases like a little leprechaun, but we’ll see if that happens.” I would like to see that!

Is today your birthday? Happy birthday! As referenced above, your birthday buddy is Chris Davis! Davis turns 32 today. Dance around like a little leprechaun in his honor today. It’s also the birthday of Raul Chavez, who appeared as a catcher in 16 games for the 2006 Orioles.
