Sunday afternoon game thread: vs Indians, 1:05

The Orioles dormant offense will have to take on defending AL Cy Young award winner Corey Kluber. This should go just fine.

Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

The Cleveland Indians are winning their division despite an impotent offense for a couple of reasons. First, their division, overall, stinks. But also, Cleveland's pitching staff is really, really good. It was on full display on Saturday when Mike Clevinger shut out the Baltimore lineup.

Today, they face off with Corey Kluber, one of the best pitchers of this generation. He is a two-time Cy Young and he took home the honor just last season. He's shown no signs of slowing down to begin 2018. Through four starts, he has a 1.52 ERA and 33 strikeouts in 29.2 innings. This sure has the feelings of back-to-back losses, but that's why they play the games, right?

Also, it's Earth Day so both clubs will be wearing jerseys with green lettering. I assume they will be auctioned off later this week. So, if you are an O's fan, memorabilia collector, lover of the earth AND have some dispensable income then get ready to open up those wallets.

Let's go O's!
