The Orioles open up a series against a team that is technically worse than them.

Gregory Fisher-USA TODAY Sports

That one week of really good baseball was fun, wasn't it? Oh, it already feels like it was eons ago. It wasn't as if we were starting to print playoff tickets, but it felt like this was going to be a team that would be semi-fun to watch. A trip to Fenway Park eliminated all of those positive vibes in one fell swoop.

However, the Orioles now head to Guaranteed Rate Field to face-off against the Chicago White Sox, the worst team in baseball. It's actually incredible there is a team worse than these Orioles since they are on pace to lose 113 games. To have two teams be that bad in a single season would be quite the display in futility.

The difference is that the White Sox are in full rebuild mode, and they have exciting young players at or near the big league level. In Baltimore, we are still a week away from finding out what this team is made of, apparently. I can't wait to find out if they are good or not!
