Thursday night gamethread: @ Angels, 10:07 PM

The Orioles are not very good on the road. Or at home. But right now they are on the road.

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

The Orioles and Angels face off tonight with the Orioles once again on the verge of being swept. It's a common theme this year. On the mound trying to be the stopper is Chris Tillman. Tillman was masterful last Friday against the Tigers, but these Angels are not the Tigers. Will he be able to repeat? I sure hope so.

As bad as the Orioles have been, I have to think they will start playing a little bit better at some point. I mean, are they really a 43 win team? Is that even possible? Somehow I doubt it. I'm not saying they're good, but they have to be better than this.

Worth paying attention to tonight is Albert Pujols. He's just two hits away from 3,000 in his career.
