Let's try this again.
The Orioles and Yankees are ready to start their series, for real this time, after Thursday's game was rained out. The weather is beautiful as I write this, so it seems a safe bet that this time they'll get the game in.
Perhaps the delay has marginally improved the Orioles' chances of winning the opener. Somehow, the O's are 6-2 on Fridays this year, compared to 11-37 on all other days. I guess the Orioles love playing on Fridays for whatever reason. Maybe they're really into Camden Chat gif parties.
Other than that, everything is basically the same as it was last night at this time, with both teams using the same lineups and the same scheduled starters, Andrew Cashner and Sonny Gray. So Ben's game thread from last night still mostly applies.
