Happy Sunday, Camden Chatters! How as your weekend gone? If you’re in the Maryland area you probably were kept inside by the pouring rain that lasted all day. Well, get used to it. We could definitely use the rain, but that won’t keep us complaining about it once it’s here!
The Orioles are safe in a dome in Toronto, doing what they do best: losing. They dropped another contest yesterday and the loss put Alex Cobb’s record at an unsightly 2-13. Time will tell if the Orioles will do what it takes to properly rebuild, but the fact that they are actually talking about it is very refreshing.

On this day in 1996, Eddie Murray rejoined the Orioles and hit his 493rd career home run. His return also featured a game in which the Indians’ Jim Thome walked on just three balls because the umpire didn’t keep track (and apparently neither did anyone in the Orioles dugout) and the next batter, Albert Belle, hit a three-run homer.
