Friday night gamethread: vs Rays, 7:05 pm

The Orioles will try to win for once in their damn lives.

Can you think of any better way to spend a Friday night than watching the Orioles? Me neither! Haha just kidding. I mean I’ll be watching it because I have to write about it but you really have no excuse.

If you are going to watch, I’m happy to have you joining me in this gamethread! We will have great fun together, I just know it. Andrew Cashner, who is your team ERA leader at 4.40, is starting for the Orioles. So maybe they have a shot?

If you’ve been keeping tabs on the former Orioles, Manny Machado hit his first Dodger home run yesterday and Zach Britton pitched a perfect inning for the Yankees (2 ground outs, one strikeout). Sigh. I know, we had to do it.

The Orioles say they’re making big changes, and there is a rumor out there today that they might spend real money in the international market. Check it out:
