Happy Saturday, Camden Chatters! How is your weekend going so far? If you watched last night’s game against the Indians, you got to see the Orioles lose their 86th game of the season and fall an astounding 50 games below .500. Crazy! Alex Church has the game recap, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Today the Orioles continue their weekend in Cleveland with the resurgent Alex Cobb facing off against someone named Adam Plutko. Game time is 4 p.m., so cancel your plans for today!

I'm a little embarrassed for Chris Davis that this story has even been thought of.

Is today your birthday? Happy birthday! You have two Orioles birthday buddies. The first is Bob Kennedy, who played for the Birds in 1954-55 as outfielder. He passed away in 2007 at the age of 84. The other is Josh Rupe, a relief pitcher who appeared in nine games in 2011. Josh turns 36 today.

On this day in 1965, Brooks Robinson hit into his third triple play. What are the odds? It’s ok though, the Orioles won that game against the Red Sox 3-2.

In 1972, the Orioles traded Elrod Hendricks to the Cubs. Noooo!

In 2016, the Orioles beat the Astros 13-5 thanks in part to two home runs each from J.J. Hardy and Chris Davis. Hyun-Soo Kim had four hits in the win .

In 2017, Manny Machado hit three home runs against the Angels, including a walk-off grand slam.
