Hey there, Camden Chatters! Did you hear the news? The Orioles won yesterday! And not only that, but Alex Cobb pitched a complete game, his first since 2013. It’s fun to have some nice things in this miserable season. You can read all about it in Mark’s recap.

The Orioles will try to win their series with the first-place Indians this afternoon. Wouldn’t that be something? Yefry Ramirez will have to out pitch Mike Clevinger for the win.

Is today your birthday? Happy birthday! You have a lot of Orioles birthday buddies, the best being J.J. Hardy. Happy 36th birthday, J.J.! We miss your defense and your dreamy eyes!

It’s also the birthday of former Orioles Rocky Cherry, Lance Cormier, Luis DeLeon, Paul Mitchell, Jim Lehew, and Jim Finigan.

In 2001 the Orioles came back from a 6-1 deficit to beat the Red Sox 13-7 and Jeff Conine had five hits. Niner!

In 2016 the Orioles hit four home runs before making an out, which is a modern record. But then Wade Miley blew it and the Orioles lost anyway.
