The Orioles and Astros were rained out last night, so tonight becomes the series opener. Houston arrives in Baltimore with a record of 100-58, having already clinched the American League West. The O’s are 0-3 against the Astros so far this season.
David Hess gets the start for Baltimore in the first game of their final series. He’s carrying a 3-10 record on the year along with a 5.14 ERA. His last start was on September 22 against the Yankees, when he allowed two runs in five innings but got a no-decision. This will be Hess’ first career start against the Astros.
