Happy Sunday, Camden Chatters. There was real live baseball on TV yesterday, and the Orioles won! Sure, it was just a spring training game against a split-squad version of the Minnesota Twins, but it was a win. And I’m gonna take it! Chance Sisco and Yusniel Diaz hit home runs in the O’s 7-2 win and Zach Pop pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning.
The Orioles will look to continue dominating the Grapefruit League today at 1 p.m. against the Toronto Blue Jays. If you live near Sarasota, take the kids out to run the bases! This game won’t be televised but you can tune into the game on 105.7. I’m not sure who will be working the game for them now that Joe Angel is retired. Yesterday’s radio broadcast was Steve Melewski and Mike Bordick.

Is today your birthday? Happy birthday! Your main Orioles birthday buddy is the coolest player to ever put on an Orioles uniform. That’s right, today is Eddie Murray’s birthday! The Hall of Famer, who turns 63 today, shares his birthday with current Oriole Chance Sisco, Sisco is now 24 years old. It’s also the birthday of former Orioles Chris “Chicken Parm” Parmelee and Gustavo “No Relation” Molina.
