The Orioles had Friday to regroup after dropping the home opener against New York 8-4. They’ll need to take both games this weekend to clinch their third series victory this season and second over the Yankees.
Chris Davis will take another day off. Renato Nunez will DH and Trey Mancini returns to his natural position at first base. Joey Rickard will get the nod in right field and Pedro Severino will be behind the plate. Jonathan Villar will lead off for Baltimore.
Dylan Bundy will take the mound against a Yankees lineup decimated by injuries. That being said, there are still several New York players that could take Bundy deep. The Orioles will face JA Happ for the second time this year. Baltimore chased Happ from the game after only four innings on March 31. He took the loss after allowing four runs on five hits, and surrendering two long balls.
