Wednesday night Orioles game thread: vs. Tigers, 7:05

New, comments

It’s time to play baseball! Or watch baseball, if that’s more your style.

MLB: Baltimore Orioles at Cleveland Indians David Richard-USA TODAY Sports

The Orioles go into tonight with the chance to win their fourth series of the year, their first in over a month, and their second at home. That is what happens when you’re a bad baseball team.

Pitching tonight is John Means, the best pitcher on the team. It never stops being weird to say that, although I am very happy for him. FanGraphs has a story on him today, too. He’s getting noticed!

Speaking of FanGraphs, they give the Orioles a 55% chance of winning this game. I’ll take it, friends. Tigers’ starter Ryan Carpenter has a 9.00 ERA and 6.90 FIP in three starts this year, so maybe that has something to do with it.
