This San Francisco Giants team is weird, right? They have a bunch of players that, five or six years ago, were really, really good. Evan Longoria, Buster Posey and Madison Bumgarner have closets full of awards. And there are more than a few remnants of Giants rosters that won multiple World Series titles.

Now, they have a 28-year-old guy, whom the Orioles traded away for peanuts just few months ago, hitting second in the order.

To be fair, the Orioles can really say that Yaz was the smartest move. The outfield has, expectedly, been in flux and it’s possible that the minor league veteran would have made his way to Baltimore at some point had he stuck around.

According to the MLB Twitter account, the clean up hitter for the Giants the last time they played in Camden Yards was former Miami Marlin hitting coach Barry Bonds.

Time, man, it keeps right on going.

Onto the Friday night action!
