Saturday night Orioles game thread: vs. Rays, 7:05

New, comments

The Orioles look to rebound from Friday night’s 7-0 loss. To win, they’ll need to score some runs.

MLB: Tampa Bay Rays at Baltimore Orioles Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

Dylan Bundy will take the mound as the Orioles look to bounce back from a shutout loss against the Rays. Bundy is still looking for his first victory this season. His 0-4 record with a 6.67 ERA certainly leaves a lot to be desired.

Chris Davis will play first base and hit seventh. Trey Mancini will take right, and Renato Núñez will serve as the designated hitter. Stevie Wilkerson will man center field, and Austin Wynns will do the catching.

Ryne Stanek will open the game for the Rays. He’s currently 0-1 with a 2.81 ERA. Stanek opened and pitched one scoreless inning against the Orioles on April 17.

Can the Orioles win one for the home crowd on a Saturday night? I guess we’ll find out. It’s also Star Wars night for all you nerds out there... I’m only kidding. Here’s hoping the Orioles use the force tonight.
