This afternoon’s game at Camden Yards is a big one for two reasons:
- The Orioles have a chance to win a series for the first time since April 24.
- The boys will be donning their annual Maryland flag-inspired uniforms.

As Orioles fans, we all have some sort of connection to the state of Maryland, and let’s be honest, we do have a pretty sweet flag. But where do we stand on the flag being worn as fashion? Is it too much? Is it not enough? Is it just plain stupid?
I can’t say that I “like” these Orioles uniforms. They just do not look like the type of thing that is going to age well, and if they ever put something like this into the weekly rotation alongside the Friday black and Saturday orange I would not be pleased. But it’s perfectly fine as an annual celebratory thing.
[UPDATE: Andrew Cashner will not start. Instead, Shawn Armstrong gets the nod]
Andrew Cashner has been scratched from today's game. Shawn Armstrong will start in his place. #Birdland
