The Orioles head to Toronto after having Independence Day off. Can Dylan Bundy and the Orioles start the series on a high note?

Anthony Santander will start in center field today for the first time in his career. According to MASN’s Roch Kubatko, “Santander’s experience in center consists of one inning in the Venezuelan Winter League and two with the Orioles this season.” Santander will be flanked by Dwight Smith Jr. and Trey Mancini.

A pair of former first round picks will square off as Dylan Bundy faces Aaron Sanchez. As Tyler Young noted in the series preview, Sanchez’s ERA has soared above six after a rough June. Baltimore’s offense will look to pounce on Sanchez right away with Jonathan Villar atop the order.

Chance Sisco will catch Bundy and bat cleanup. Chris Davis will play first and Renato Núñez will serve as the designated hitter. Rio Ruiz and Richie Martin will handle the left side of the infield.

The Orioles hope to start off the series on a high note after dropping two-of-three in Tampa. Can the Orioles offense match the six runs they scored in the ninth their last time out? I guess we’ll find out!
